I have grown a lot since August. I have matured in many ways since high school. When I first came to Xavier for registration, I was frustrated because I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t have any help. As the year went by, I was able to take care of things on my own financially and educationally. I spent a lot of time in the library or at tutoring sessions. I also learned how to manage my time with all of my classes and extra curricular activities. Next semester, in my opinion will be a little easier for me because I know what to expect. The classes are going to be more advanced but I know what I have to do to get through it. I am taking up 18 hours next semester so most of my time will be spent at school. After this semester, I will stay home in New Orleans and relax with my family. Most likely I will do a lot of Christmas shopping and eating out with my family. We might drive out to Baton Rouge or Mississippi to visit family members or to do more shopping. I look forward to my break and a new semester.
